Privacy Policy

Clinic2Digital ("we", "us"). Last updated: 10 August 2026.

Who this covers

This policy covers the Clinic2Digital web and desktop applications and this website. Clinic2Digital is practice-management software used by dental clinics. Each clinic (the doctor or practice that registers) is the controller of its patients' records; Clinic2Digital processes and stores that data on the clinic's behalf.

What we store

Where it lives

Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Storage and Firebase Authentication), hosted on Google Cloud. Access is restricted by security rules so that patient records are readable only by signed-in doctors of the clinic that owns them. Media files are additionally protected by per-object access tokens.

What we do NOT do

Your rights

Patients should direct access, correction or deletion requests to their clinic, which controls their records. Clinics can delete patient records from within the app; deletion removes the record and its media from our storage. Doctors may request deletion of their clinic account and all its data by contacting us.

Compliance

Clinics deploying Clinic2Digital remain responsible for their obligations under applicable law (such as the DPDP Act in India, GDPR, or HIPAA where applicable). The software is open source and can be self-hosted on a clinic's own Firebase project, in which case Clinic2Digital stores no data at all.
