Terms of Service
Clinic2Digital ("we", "us"). Last updated: 10 August 2026.
1. The service
Clinic2Digital is practice-management software for dental clinics: patient records, appointments, case sheets and X-ray sync, available as a web app and a desktop sync agent. By registering a clinic or signing in, you agree to these terms.
2. Not a medical device
Clinic2Digital stores and displays clinical records. It does not diagnose, interpret radiographs, or make any clinical recommendation. All clinical decisions are the sole responsibility of the treating practitioner.
3. Your account and your data
- You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for keeping access to it secure.
- Your clinic owns its data. We claim no rights over patient records you store; our Privacy Policy describes how it is protected.
- You are responsible for having the patient consents and legal basis required to store clinical records in a cloud service under the laws that apply to your practice (DPDP Act, GDPR, HIPAA, or others as applicable).
4. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to access another clinic's data, probe or circumvent security rules, resell the hosted service, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that threaten the security or integrity of the service.
5. Open source and self-hosting
The software is open source under the AGPL-3.0 license. You are free to self-host it on your own Firebase project; these terms apply only to the instance hosted by Clinic2Digital. The license, not these terms, governs your use of the source code.
6. Availability and changes
The hosted service is provided on a best-effort basis without an uptime guarantee. We may modify or discontinue features; for material changes affecting stored data we will give clinics reasonable notice and a way to export their records.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clinic2Digital is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data caused by factors outside our control, or clinical outcomes. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service and request deletion of your clinic's data at any time. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable.
